Warning! This is not the Expertise podcast. This is an illegally recorded phone conversation about the Expertise podcast. By listening, you are a party to that illegality. And that's the best kind of party there is. I've been doing some research into the legalities of a podcast like this. And because we're recording across state lines, we have to have that recording sound to show that we're recording. And I don't have the technology to do that. So, my hope is that you could just beep every 30 seconds. Yeah, I can. Beep. There we go. Perfect. So, I don't know if you have a timer you can set or if you just want to estimate it.

I'll estimate. I'm pretty good. Beep. Beep. Beep. No, no. You were right. You were right. It's just when you're talking, then I thought I should beep. Beep. Thank you. So, I was surprised. Beep. Thank you. When you're beeping, does that count as you talking? Beep. Beep when you're beeping? If you could boop, that would be great. Beep. Boop. That's it. That's it. Let's see. There were a couple of other legalities I wanted to cover. With the fan mail pouring in, do you have any funds for a P.O. box that we could rent? That we could rent for our fan mail? Yeah. Yeah. I just feel awkward giving out my personal address.

Beep. Absolutely. Let's get a P.O. box. Beep. But I feel like even with a P.O. box, I don't want to get fan mail. So, I think we should get a P.O. box, but beep, out the address. We got a letter from a sign language interpreter asking for representation in her community. Beep. Like an agent? Maybe that's what it was. I think she was asking if you could represent her to her community. Oh, sure. I mean, I'll take 10%. I think what she was asking was, she was feeling that our podcast did not serve the hearing impaired community. And my argument was, well, it's a podcast.

And her argument was something that I couldn't understand because it was in sign language. Beep. I think we would have to explain to her the legality that even if we had an interpreter, there's no way to interpret the beeps. Good. Good. Well, I'll type that up and get it into our P.O. box. Are we covered, by the way, against frivolous lawsuits? Claire, I think the only thing we're covered for is frivolous lawsuits. That's great because I have a frivolous lawyer, and I was hoping he might get put to work for once. Spends all his time representing sign language interpreters.

Yeah, a lot of money there. Yeah. Related to that, I'm wondering if we need to get an elevator in the building. We've got the three flights of stairs right now leading up to the P.O. box. Right. Yeah. No, I will sign on the dotted line for an elevator. Okay. Maybe we could get one of our signing people to do the signing for you. Beep. This is working out perfectly. Yeah. It's a beautiful cycle. What is it, the hippo and the bird? What kind of relationship is that? Avian mammal. Big, small is what I was thinking of. Big, small. Far near. Did you have any business concerns you wanted to cover?

I'm wondering how many episodes we need to call this a series. Yeah. Do podcasts have series? Podcasts can have series. Here's what we need to do, Claire. If you want a series, we need a murder. So there's a murder in season one and then a murder in season two. And I'm not sure that fits with our format. No, but I feel like if we got an elevator in the building, that's one step closer. Beep.
