Ladies and gentlemen, our audience tonight is composed mostly of survivalists. And Clare Sera, since you are a wilderness survival expert, I thought we could probe your area. What? Of expertise. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, podcast listeners from north, south, east and west. I'm your host, Danno Sullivan. The podcast is Expertise. My guest today is wilderness survival expert, Clare Sera. Welcome to the podcast. Oh, my gosh. Look at that, ladies and gentlemen. She is gnawing on a shank of what looks like meat roasted over a campfire.
Am I correct? You're correct that it looks like that. But it is actually the branch of a fir tree that I have trimmed down to the heartwood. That's wonderful. I think that's the key of wilderness survival, isn't it? Is to be able to make do with what you've got. Oh, you got a little something in your... Oh, yeah, that's... There you go. Yeah, thank you. Now, Clare, in an instance like that, you're in the wilderness, you've got something caught in your teeth, but you don't have any store-bought toothpicks. You know, what do you do? Well, you wait till you get to a store for something like that, of course.
That's the essence right there of true wilderness survival. My guest today has been Clare Serra, ladies and gentlemen, wilderness survival expert. Thanks so much for being on the show. Thank you.
